Since this place was rebuilt from the ground up I suppose I might as well reintroduce myself.

I've been here for the past what?  Six years or so, lurking for the last for or five, but I'm always up for conversation about anything with anyone.  I'm a part-time retail worker, part-time college student, part-time gamer, full-time smart alec, and I visit the site approximately weekly.

I joined this site because a friend of mine (Timizlam) introduced me to it, and back when he was still around (he's MIA presently and has been for the past few years) and back at the height of the popularity of zombie apocalypse fiction, we had an excellent zombie apocalypse thread which was no doubt taken down due to the excessive amounts of swearwords in contained.  Still though, Tim and I would play Dead Frontier, pose ridiculous hypotheticals to each other, and just chat for hours on end, carefree and worrylessly.

My interests include history (especially European), water (particularly the treatment of raw water to make it potable, the moving of large quantities, and the filling and draining of large basins with it), nuclear power (including Uranium in light water, Uranium in heavy water, Thorium in molten salt, and Hydrogen fusion), astronomy/astrophysics, and video games.

My favorite game series are Ratchet and Clank, Jak and Daxter, and Grow (the former two are Playstation exclusives, the latter is a flash game played on PC).  I also really like Grand Theft Auto V and Resident Evil 4 despite not playing any other games in either franchise.

Finally, I'm a bit odd in that I like to watch particularly old films from time to time, and thus the poll is a popularity contest between a couple of classics you may not even have heard of!  If you haven't, I would recommend watching both of them when you have a couple free hours.

Welcome back! Fun fact, the 5th anniversary of this website was 6 days ago, March 10th. The site is still undergoing changes, but we hope to have all cylinders going relatively soon.

I too, enjoyed the Ratchet & Clank series growing up, definitely one of my favorites, along with the PS2 Ace Combat series. Do you play GTA5 on PC? If so, feel free to add me. RSSC: Risotis

Alas no-I have been climbing the ladder of better PC through my life and despite having recently moved to the "Can play Minecraft with the settings all on high" rung, I didn't think (and still don't) it could handle GTA V, so I got it for the PS3 instead.

Hey! Welcome back. It's always good to see a familiar face. I tried to get a hold of Timmy but was unable to successfully contact him. We're still working on many things with this new forum and when that's ready, we'll work on bringing new members and content in.

I'm really glad to see you here during the early stages of development.

Also took a look at Dr. Strangelove, it seems like an interesting movie, I'll have to check it out.
